Lovin to puttin

Whether you're putting around on a big twin or jamming that flashy pre unit chop past the girls at the bus stop, one thing i the same for all of us. We love to ride.
Just look at your pal's face while he is cruizin down the middle lane, he's going to have that biker grin, a vulture like stance and a thirst for the road ahead. So what are you waiting for? Hit the road Jack!!

Kick Start Sunday 2014

You build it and they will come. its a perfect saying for an event organised by Flathead Buzz.
a day run from Wourn Ponds just outside Geelong, hooking its way past Winchelsea and onto Deans Marsh for a food and raffle stop, then onto the beautiful cove of Lorne for another stop, feed and greet and then setting out across the Great Ocean Road heading back to Wourn Ponds to finish.

Thanks to all the sponsors for the raffle bags and all who turned up, it was a killer day of choppers and good people.

till next year. Ride on

Heath King's killer Ironhead Chop

Man, ever since we stumbled across this Ironhead chop it just made sense, perfect sense.

Its not polished and it doesn't need to be, why? cause its a fucking real bike, evolving and repaired by the hand who created it. When you see it you just plain wanna ride the shit out of it, and sit back and just stare. A down to earth freedom machine built in Australia. two words sum it up. Raw style!

Ill leave the rest for the magazine but you gotta see this ride. Here is a quick teaser.
Check out the full article in the first issue of Dragon Wolf Press, hitting the shelves mid Jan 2014.

When you got spare time, you make the most of it!

Mitch has been putting in some more Time on his Iron Head build, with the addition of a J&P Cycles Sanger weld on hard-tail and the know how of Chris from Howells Fabrication, its coming along fast. Many friends hands make memorable choppers and this ones going to be memorable.

Oil Stained Brain 013

Oil Stained Brain has been and gone for another year and fuck was it amazing. It was good to see so many like minded individuals rock up for what was a great time and damn were the bikes cool.
Creative 2 wheeling history in the making.
We will run a story in the upcoming issue too but for now here is a little taster from the OSB weekend.

Mitch Bailey's Iron Head project.

Mitch Bailey, the Antique tyre wizard has begun his Iron Head Chopper project. from what I'm told its going to be one fucking bad arse chopper.
In Mitch's own words:
"The build is going good. I've got all old kick arse chopper parts, tank, oil bag, king/queen. It should look like i just pulled it out of some old chopper dudes basement from the 70's."

Sure as shit I am looking forward to seeing progress on this ride.

From Stock to some mock up and tear down, here is a couple of pics Mitch sent me in.
